Prayer beads are an essential prayer resource.  Because Buddhism comes in many sizes,
prayer beads also come in a wide variety of styles. SGI Buddhists have a distinctive
design, similar to one of the examples shown in the video below. Prayer beads help 
guide the practitioner along their prayer path while chanting, allowing each recitations to be counted along the way. As you learn about prayer beads remember, SGI Buddhists just chant 
NAM MYOHO RENGO KYO.

THE MEDICINE BUDDHA DOCUMENTARY

The documentary below The Medicine Buddha is not the famed fable in Buddhist teachings.
 This also is not an SGI Buddhist. This feature is a glimpse into the lives of Mongolian Buddhists.
They do a different style of Buddhism. In Nichiren Buddhism, thought is placed on taking
your problem back to a specific spot and chant Nam Myoho Renge Kyo as the core foundation.
